Day 01: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
Welcome to Srinagar, the crown jewel of Kashmir!
Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of Srinagar city, crossing the Abdullah Bridge over the Jhelum River. Begin your sightseeing tour with visits to the famous Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi — along with the sacred Shankaracharya Temple.
In the evening, you can take a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake (optional).
Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 02: Srinagar – Sonmarg Excursion – Return to Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold), located 87 km from Srinagar.
Enjoy the picturesque drive surrounded by snow-capped mountains and green meadows.
You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost), where snow remains throughout the year.
Sonmarg is also known as the Gateway to Ladakh.
Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Srinagar – Pahalgam Excursion – Return to Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) — one of Kashmir’s most beautiful destinations, located about 97 km from Srinagar.
En route, visit Saffron Fields and Apple Orchards of Pampore.
In Pahalgam, enjoy visits to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari (by local taxi at your own cost).
You can also enjoy horse riding or a nature walk along the Lidder River.
After sightseeing, return to Srinagar for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 04: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion – Return to Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers), approximately 56 km from Srinagar.
En route, enjoy views of charming villages and lush green meadows.
In Gulmarg, experience the world-famous Gondola Ride (at your own cost), one of the highest cable car rides in the world.
You can also visit Strawberry Valley and enjoy horse riding (optional).
Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay and dinner.
Day 05: Srinagar – Old City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Old Srinagar, visiting traditional markets, wooden mosques, and historic landmarks that showcase Kashmiri culture and craftsmanship.
You may explore local bazaars for authentic Kashmiri handicrafts, carpets, and dry fruits.
Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 06: Departure from Srinagar Airport
After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you the beautiful memories of your Kashmir Paradise Retreat with Travel Sevak.
