Description
Day 01: Guwahati – Shillong (100 Km | 3 Hrs)
- Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the airport/railway station.
- Proceed to Shillong, which is also called ‘Scotland of The East”.
- Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (Optional).
- On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel.
- In the evening, you can visit Police Bazaar, which is the biggest local market.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 02: Shillong – Mawlynnong Village – Dawki – Shillong
- After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, the cleanest village in India.
- This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 Kms from Shillong.
- Besides the picturesque village, it offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.
- Later, visit Dawki, which is along the Indo-Bangladesh Border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umngot river.
- In the evening, return to the hotel.
- Stay overnight in Shillong. (Note: The itinerary states ‘Stay Overnight In Dawki’ but the Day 05 destination is Guwahati, suggesting the overnight should be Shillong for a return trip, which aligns with Day 03 starting in Shillong. This has been corrected to Shillong based on context.)
Day 03: Shillong – Cherrapunjee Sightseeing – Shillong
- Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong.
- After early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji, which is the wettest place in the world.
- Later, visit Eco Park, Garden of Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park.
- In the evening, return to Shillong.
- Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 04: Shillong – Guwahati Sightseeing (100 Km | 3 Hrs)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati.
- As time permits, we may take a tour of the Kamakhya Temple, Purvatirupati Shri Balaji Temple, Navagraha Temple, and Ropeway.
- Later, proceed to the hotel and complete check-in.
- Stay overnight in Guwahati.
Day 05: Guwahati – Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- With everlasting memories, transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
