Day 01: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Evening Sightseeing
Welcome to Leh, the land of high passes! Upon arrival at Leh Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.
Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude (approx. 11,500 ft).
In the evening, visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the local market for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs.
Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 02: Leh Sightseeing – Sangam, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib & Hall of Fame
After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour around Leh. Visit the mesmerizing Sangam (Confluence) of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib built in memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
On the way back, stop by the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers.
Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (140 km / 5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley through the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La (18,380 ft).
On arrival, visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder and enjoy a camel safari on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels.
Later, explore Diskit Village and its ancient monastery, home to a majestic 106-ft Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 04: Nubra Valley – Excursion to Turtuk – Return to Nubra (160 km round trip)
After breakfast, drive to Turtuk, a picturesque border village near the Line of Control.
Famous for its Balti culture, apricot orchards, and stunning views of the Karakoram Range, Turtuk offers a unique cultural experience.
Return to Nubra in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (150 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake via the scenic Shayok Route (subject to road conditions).
On arrival, check into your lakefront camp and witness the beauty of Pangong Tso, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world, famous for its shimmering blue waters and mountain backdrop.
Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 06: Pangong Lake to Leh via Hemis & Thiksey Monasteries (140 km / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Leh. En route, visit the renowned Hemis Monastery, the largest monastery in Ladakh, followed by the Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace.
Upon arrival in Leh, check in to your hotel and relax.
Evening free for leisure or shopping at the local market.
Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 07: Departure from Leh Airport
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward flight, taking with you beautiful memories of your Leh–Ladakh Himalayan Expedition with Travel Sevak.
